Job Summary
As a Packer, your primary responsibility will be to prepare our clients’ belongings for transport. You will be crucial in ensuring items are safely and securely packed to prevent damage during the move. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, physical stamina, and working efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pack items into boxes, ensuring they are secure and protected.
- Use appropriate packing materials to safeguard belongings, including bubble wrap, packing paper, and boxes.
- Label boxes clearly and accurately for easy identification during the move.
- Assist with the inventory process by counting and recording items as they are packed.
- Work collaboratively with the moving team to load and organize packed boxes for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in packing, moving, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
